It’s time to clean out your closets. Don’t worry about the clothes. Just dust off those manuscripts that haven’t gone anywhere and start submitting them to various writing competitions. I’ve pasted in the email I just received about upcoming Writer’s Digest writing contests. But there are plenty more.
When I Googled “2012 writing competitions,” I got 30,700,000 results. Ha! Naturally I didn’t check them all out. But safe to say, there are a ton of opportunities out there.
