The last few months haven’t been easy for most of us. Divisiveness and ugliness have proliferated. To say that an awful lot of people are demoralized would be the understatement of the decade.
I was in something of a funk (also an understatement) when I went to see Tuck & Patti in concert last month. Their music and their lyrics have always moved me. I’ve felt as if they were tapping into my heart and singing directly to me. When they performed their song “Love Warriors,” a song that was written in 1989 even though it sounds like it could have been written this year, I felt as if Tuck & Patti were providing the answer I’d been searching for. I share it with you now in the hopes that you will feel that too.
Don’t give up. We can all become love warriors.
