Grammar Outs – Poorly-Written Commercial

Grammar Outs – Poorly-Written Commercial

“Would you know what to do if you or a loved one was injured or, worse, killed in an accident?” the TV commercial’s narrator asked before advising the viewer not to be pressured into signing anything.

No problem. If you’ve been killed in an accident, no one is going to manage to pressure you into signing a single document. For that matter, you’re not exactly going to be  in a position to hear the commercial, let alone able to call the law firm responsible for this poorly-written commercial.

A classic example of trying to do too much with one sentence.
